Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect through aveg.app, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Last updated 3 November 2026.

The short version
  • We only collect what you type into the contact form.
  • No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixels.
  • We use your details to reply to you, and to send updates only if you ask for them.
  • We never sell, rent or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time.

01Who we are

Aveg is an Organisation Intelligence Platform from Arion Velocity ([legal entity name] Pty Ltd, ABN [ABN]), based in Melbourne, Australia. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Arion Velocity.

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, for visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

02What we collect

When you use the contact form: your name, work email, organisation, and message; optionally your role, phone number (with country code) and area of interest; and your choices on the two tick boxes, with the date and time you made them.

To protect the site from spam: our server keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour. It cannot be turned back into your IP address and is deleted automatically.

Server logs: like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

We don’t ask for sensitive information (such as health, financial or government ID details). Please don’t include it in your message.

03Cookies and tracking

aveg.app does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking technology. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading the page doesn’t send your details to Google or any other third party. Because nothing is stored in your browser, there is no cookie banner.

If this ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

04How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, for example to arrange an executive briefing or discuss Aveg, consulting or training.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
  • To send you occasional updates about Aveg and Arion Velocity, only if you ticked the box asking for them.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We don’t use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

05Our no-spam promise

  • You only receive updates if you tick the box. It is never ticked for you.
  • A handful of emails a year at most, about things worth your time: releases, events and ideas.
  • Every update tells you who it is from and how to unsubscribe, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly.
  • Your address is never shared, sold, rented, or added to anyone else’s list.
  • Replying to your enquiry is not marketing: we’ll respond whether or not you ask for updates.

06Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as far as they need it:

  • Hostinger: hosts the website and stores contact form submissions.
  • Telegram: we receive notifications of new enquiries in a private Telegram chat, which means the details you submit pass through Telegram.

If we start using an email service to send updates, we will name it here. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

07Overseas storage and transfer

Telegram is operated outside Australia and stores data in several countries. Hostinger’s servers for this site are located in [data centre location]. This means your details may be stored or processed outside Australia. We use these providers because they are established services with security measures appropriate to the information involved.

08How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: for as long as we need to respond and manage our relationship with you, and no longer than [24 months] after our last contact unless you become a client. Then we delete them.
  • Update subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Scrambled IP addresses: one hour.

09How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored in a server folder that cannot be reached from the web, and only we can access them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

10Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw your consent to updates at any time by unsubscribing or telling us.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your information, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on your consent for updates, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us for everything else.

11Contact and complaints

For any privacy question or request, contact us at [privacy contact email] or through the contact form. We aim to respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the version date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
